Google and Amazon make music service plans

Search engine giants Google are set to launch their own music service plans, to rival Apple’s popular iTunes.

Amazon is also said to be in talks with music industry executives to come up with a similar service.

Amazon is reportedly further advanced than Google, and could launch its own service as soon as spring - a move that appears necessary as consumer music and media tastes move to digital
