June 23rd, 2006 by e-tech

Google Inc has sold it’s stake in China’s Baidu.com.

The Big G owned 2.6 per cent in Baidu, and even though it’s a minor stake,Google would still make
approximately $60m (£33m).

Google will still profit from the sale, however, as shares in Baidu have risen to $80 since their opening price of $27 last year.
