FREE Website Templates at TemplateWorld
WOW, it seems to me that free templates or themes nowadays are getting better and better by the day, i’m sure most of you reading this will be fairly aquainted with the open source template site OSWD.org, but you should add another site to your list, add TemplateWorld.
Here’s a preview of the totally cool looking templates that you can download for free:
TemplateWorld templates are easily editable, 100% compatible with popular html and image editors, They are primarily geared toward a screen resolution of 1024×768 pixels (with compatibility for 800×600 pixels, 1152×864 pixels and higher), they are are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License and best of all they are completely FREE.
I believe it will be just a matter of time before someone codes this templates to be compatible with the likes of Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal and more.

Hello,
I am sending this message after Googling a fraudulent internet vendor’s company name and seeing you have a link to the vendor on your own web site.
The vendor is TemplateWorld.com, at IP 72.36.209.251, based in India. The company advertises unlimited web site template downloads for the cost of a 6-month subscription, but upon purchasing the buyer learns the so-called templates are nothing more than single web page. The buyer is then told additional template pages incur a $50 per page “customization fee”
Upon complaining about this and threatening a formal dispute with the credit card company, customers’ accounts are immediately closed; the membership fee is never returned, and TemplateWorld refuses to respond to any further queries by the customer or credit card company.
Since posting this information on various web sites and blogs yesterday, I have received emails from 7 other customers who say TemplateWorld did the same thing to them.
I STRONGLY urge you to revise your review of TemplateWorld and consider removing the link to them. You would be helping your web site visitors to avoid being ripped off like we have. please accept my apologies).

Do check ratings with the BBB before making an online purchase. I wish I had checked TW out before placing my order.
TemplateWorld.com provides zero customer support!!! They charged our bank account then would not respond vie email or phone.
We eventually received a response that was rude and condescending at best.
We never did receive a password and were charged $50.

I was just about to sign up with TemplateWorld, but wanted to research them before proceeding. The BBB gives them an unsat rating, so I am glad I waited.

Your website is still down. I would like to cancel my order with your company. I have not downloaded anything as your site has been down since yesterday–shortly after my order was received by your company. My system and internet connection is working properly.

Our website is a very active Business and is almost never down, at least not for a second in the last 2 months. In event the site doesn’t respond, our network administration team is immediately alerted by email/SMS and they get it back up in matter of few minutes.
I kindly request you to check with your ISP or network.

LISA: We never received any notification from BBB, how are we supposed to know about a pending complaint?
We are not formally registered with them. Will be looking in to this now…the only complaint with them is from Mark, person who posted above you– who trumpeted against us all over the Internet.
Mark: Browse through our website again, we never claimed to offer all web templates with multiple pages. Many of our templates do come with 3 or 5 pages, but not all of them. Nevertheless, we never deny refunds for genuine reasons, but won’t refund accounts who have downloaded more than reasonable number of templates. In your case, you demanded a refund after downloading about 30 templates.
Knowing about you are dis-satisfied, our director had emailed you offering a full refund– I think he did refund your charge– but you never replied.
You claim to have found 7 people allegedly been cheated by us is nothing but a false claim that you and I know very well. Anyway…
