Myspace To Block “outside code” ?

January 19th, 2007 by e-tech

Could it be possible that the popular social networking site -Myspace is on the verge of blocking content like widgets, images and videos from other sites?

Over at TechCrunch that was an innuendo that in the near future Myspace might begin to implement the “certified” partners rule where they would block content from sites like slide.com,YouTube, photobucket and more unless they pay a fee to be a certified partner.

I think it’s quite possible but that would blow away some startups that heavily rely on Myspace traffic.
