Canon PowerShot A460 Digital Camera Review
August 7th, 2007 by e-tech

The Canon PowerShot A460 is a 5-megapixel digital camera with a marginally larger LCD screen and CCD size. Its 2.0-inch LCD screen has a paltry 86,000 pixels, an in-camera flash, and a 4x optical zoom lens. It comes equipped with a full auto mode, a manual mode, eight preset scene modes and a movie mode with audio capture. The other bad news is that it has very noisy images, awkward zoom rocker and no 30fps VGA movie mode.
As a budget shooter though, the A460 fails to really stand out of the crowd. Its most notable aspect is its 38mm-to-152mm-equivalent 4x lens, slightly more powerful than the 3x lenses found on most snapshot cameras.
