Samsung’s New 256GB Solid State (Flash) Hard Drive

Samsung today released details on their latest Solid State (No Moving Parts) Hard Drive. Measuring in at a gigantic 256 Gigabytes it rivals the size of many of todays more conventional hard drives, and at speeds of upto 200mbps data transfer it is looking like it soon may be faster than even the most advanced regular hard drives on todays market.
The Flash SSD Series from Samsung is used in most recent notebooks today, since Solidstate Hard Drives are smaller, more resilient and reliable there is no surprise in this. The 256GB version of Samsungs Solid State hard Drives is Due to be Released at the end of 2008.
