Once in a while there comes a time where some company out there will release a truly sexy designed gadget, and the new keyboard by Logitech – The diNovo Edge is one such piece of beauty.

The keyboard is laser cut from a single, semi-translucent piece of black Plexiglas® and set into a brushed-aluminum frame. The innovative design provides minimum buttons and the dynamic, backlighted icons embedded within the keyboard, which are invisible when not illuminated.

The diNovo Edge is only ¾-inches (19.05 mm) thick which is of course a good thing. The keyboard can connect to any PC via Bluetooth wireless technology and if you don’t have built-in Bluetooth technology, you would only need to plug in the micro-receiver to a USB port to connect the keyboard to the PC.

More info about this sexy little thing can be found at HardwareZone

According to the Yankee Group study, mobile music phones are the way to go in the future, and they will kill MP3 players.

Also in the reports it states that in the next five years, 30.3 million will switch from digital music players to mobile music phones and are more likely to pay a premium for phones with music playback function and data-related services.

The addition of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity will open new possibilities for content acquisition and distribution. Companies such as MusicGremlin are developing Wi-Fi-enabled digital audio players that can download content directly from an online store without the need for a PC. Online music services also can automatically push out content to the device removing the consumer’s responsibility to update content on the digital audio player. By subscribing to periodically updated play lists, consumers can have the spontaneity of radio without the commercials, Yankee Group said.

Make phone calls with your MP3 music player?..yea,it’s so true.

South Korean company Hyon Korea has introduced a MP3 player with Bluetooth connectivity. This MP3 player effectively pairs with your cell phone and acts like a handsfree. So if you are listening to a song and you get a phone call you can accept the phone call via the MP3 player itself and talk without using the phone. If you receive a SMS it is displayed on the player’s display. The most interesting feature is that you can also make calls using the MP3P. Using the softdial and the display you dial the number of your choice and start talking without even touching your cellphone. It sounds an audible alarm when it is out of Bluetooth range thus preventing theft.
