But during the closing of last year the trend of video based photoshop tutorials are blooming all over the net, but most of them don’t allow you to download the videos, instead they rely on YouTube and MetaCafe to deliver their tutorials, however at photoshop tutorials you will get to wtahc the tutorials online or choose “Download tutorial” to save the Quicktime or Windows Media Files to your computer to watch them later.

One thing that immediately comes to mind is that it resembles a mobile phone but in fact it’s just an MP3 player. If it was a phone it would have been a good rival to Apple’s iPhone with it’s sexy looks.

This lightweight MP3 Player has a heavy portfolio including an innovative touch screen, FM radio receiver, and built-in speakers. The K5 enables you to share your music experience with others. A mini boom box, this revolutionary MP3 player defies engineering forces of nature by squeezing a high-end music player complete with a slide-out speaker into a slim compact form.

Gizmodo and CNET has done in depth reviews of this products (with video) so check out the links:

WordPress is one of the best (if not the best) blogging software out there, and best of all it’s free and really easy peasy to install.

There are many plugins and themes out there that can help you achieve the function and look you want for your blog, but of course WordPress is such a sweet script that many have called it a CMS (Content Management System) and have used and modified the script to be more than a mere blog, so it’s really up to you to mesh and mix.

Well this post is going to focus on the theme aspect of WordPress (will be called WP from now on), to get started let’s view some beautiful looking WP powered sites:

exibit5a

Kitta

PhonoPhunk

Rebel Pixel

Binary Bonsai

Sidesh0w

Simplesis

Of course these sites are just a very very small fraction of WP powered sites out there.

FREE THEMES

FREE, just the mention of that word turns a whole community into a frenzy, WP is no different so here’s a list of sites that have compiled free themes to be downloaded by people like you and me

Theme Viewer

ThemePress

Blogging Themes

WPGarden

Blogging Pro

Comprehensive List of Themes by Emily Robbins

WordPress Themes

Alex King

Kaushal Sheth

PREMIUM THEMES

I’ve also come across sites that charge a fee for themes, and some fof these are very professional looking indeed.

Template Monster

WPBoard

Rocket Theme *soon*

If you know of any other site please comment below so i can add that to the list.

Thanks

*P.S: If you liked the thumbnail theme used in this post you can download the theme here

Adobe has warned users of it’s Flash Player of a possible denial of service attack and has urged users to apply an update for it.

The exploit affects what’s called Flash remoting – essentially the provision of server-based application services via Flash, as opposed to via HTML, Active Server Pages or some other wrapper. Though an exploit itself has not yet been discovered, Adobe engineers found that a certain form of Flash remoting command sent to ColdFusion servers (another acquired Macromedia technology) triggers an infinite loop process that will not stop itself.

has just up the stakes with it’s propose purchase of Canadian company ATI Technologies Inc for $5.4 billion.

This is the excerpt from AMD & ATI’s site:

On July 24, 2006, AMD and ATI announced a plan to join forces, in a transaction that will combine AMD’s technology leadership in microprocessors with ATI’s strengths in graphics, chipsets and consumer electronics. The result is a processing powerhouse: a new competitor, better equipped to drive growth, innovation and choice for its customers in commercial and mobile computing segments and in rapidly-growing consumer electronics segments. The transaction, valued at US $5.4 billion, is expected to close in Q4 2006 subject to approval by ATI shareholders, court approval, regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
